GSM Laternenlauf

For those not familiar with this tradition, the origins include the story of Martin of Tours, a Roman soldier who shared his cloak with a cold beggar on a winter’s night. This story offers an opportunity to talk about kindness and generosity with our children, and is also a time for our community to gather, sing, and spend time together.

Children are invited to bring their lanterns, and then enjoy a musical walk in the neighborhood while illuminating the street with our new lanterns! Or make a lantern at home and join our walk.
