A new school year has started!
Dear GSM Friends, Alumni & Families,
Welcome to a new school year! Fall is always an exciting time at GSM as we welcome new faces into our community, and we’re happy to share the dates for our upcoming admissions events.
Visiting GSM is a wonderful way to experience our bilingual, inquiry-based approach to learning firsthand and see our IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) in action. We are proud to be an authorized IB World School and to bring inquiry-based learning to our students from their very first years with us.
Our Preschool welcomes our youngest inquirers starting at age 2, and we currently have a number of spaces available across our K–5 program as well. We are especially excited to connect with families of children ages 2, 3, and 4 who may be looking for a warm, engaging, and international preschool community.
Located across two campuses in the heart of Tribeca, German-American School Manhattan (GSM) has been part of New York City’s diverse educational landscape since 2018. Families join us from across the five boroughs and New Jersey, drawn to our combination of strong academics, inquiry-based learning, and dual-language immersion in German and English, with Spanish introduced beginning in Grade 3.
Our dedicated, multilingual educators create a stimulating Program of Inquiry aligned with both U.S. and German benchmark standards in the core subjects. Through our transdisciplinary approach, students make meaningful connections across social studies, STEAM, music, modern dance, art, and more – making learning engaging, creative, and relevant.
We would love to welcome you to GSM, introduce you to our community, and share more about what makes our program so special. We hope to see you at one of our upcoming admissions events!
